ANGRY PENGUINS

The ‘Angry Penguins’ are one of the longest running acts on the Northern NSW Coast. The duo of Roo and Danny hail from Lismore and mainly play those retro classic rock/popsongs that people can’t get enough of. There’s a sprinkling of the best songs of the last decade too but in fact they have such a big repertoire that they can play to just about any crowd. They are known as a great live act who get the audience involved by playing with the crowd not at them, and creating an infectious fun vibe with their tongue-in-cheek antics and lyrics. And they are happy to take requests and aim their repertoire for the night at the crowd actually present.

“We have a reputation for being Crowd Pleasers but the Angry Penguins don’t like to rest on our laurels” says Roo. ‘We are always striving to improve and are always updating, (whether it’s our repertoire or equipement) so as to eradicate the ‘boredom’ factor both for us and the audience. We guarantee you’ll never hear us playing the same old songs in the same old order.’
