From Sydney, corner-player JIRI KRIPAC is one of the veterans of the Aussie Trad Jazz scene. He comes from the old Czechoslovakia and has led bands in Sydney for the past 30 years. His repertoire comes from masters such as Fats Waller, Louis Armstrong, Duke Ellington and Hogy Carmichael … bound to be a fabulous afternoon of the real-deal trad-jazz. Jiri will be accompanied by Fred Cole on piano and Hans Lovejoy on double bass.
The legendary Lennox Jam night has been running for many years and brings musicians in from all around the Northern Rivers areas and beyond. Come on down, bring your instrument.
